Every person has two copies of each gene. One copy comes from the mother and the other copy comes from the father. When the DNA paternity test is performed, our laboratory examines the DNA of the child to determine whether the father's contribution matches that of the alleged father. If the alleged father is the true biological father of the child, half of the child's genetics will match that of the alleged father's. If the profile does not match, the tested man will be excluded as being the biological father of the child. We use a non-invasive, pain-free DNA collection method for paternity testing. Using the latest technology, a buccal cell sample taken from the inside of the mouth is now the most recommended method for sample collection.

We also offer Genetic Predisposition Testing, Maternity Testing, Grandparentage Testing, Full Siblingship studies, Genetic Reconstruction, Twin Zygosity and Allele Sizing, Personal DNA Profiling, Y-STR Paternal Lineage, Forensic Services, Genetic Reconstructions and DNA Banking. DNA Aunt/Uncle
Our Price: $339.00

This test requires an Aunt/Uncle (typically the brother or sister of the father) and Child. Including the mother is optional, but recommended.

The best case scenario is to test the aunt or uncle, mother and child to ensure conclusive results about the father. We recognize that it's not always possible to test all three, however, it is possible to take a statistical approach by testing the aunt or uncle and child.
